Grand Hyatt’s Maps and Directions includes a (printable) map as well as directions from different perspectives (for example from DIA, from Points South, etc.). Frommer’s also offers a nice printable map with specific destinations.

denver.org offers great Denver Maps features that can be refined by location and specific amenities.

Yahoo offers a similar service, check out their Interactive Map of Denver including things to do, restaurants, trip plans, and deals.

Getting Around Denver

Denver offers several modes of transportation for getting around the area.

  • 16th Street Shuttle – Runs throughout the central business and entertainment district of downtown Denver
  • Light Rail Service/RTD – Stops at most corners in the city, including Invesco Field, Pepsi Center/Six Flags/Elitch Gardens, Union Station – Lower downtown (LODO)/Coors Field/16th Street Mall.
  • Amtrak – Union Station is approximately 11 blocks from the hotel.

Union Station is accessible via:

  • 16th St Shuttle – Shuttle stops 1 block from Grand Hyatt Denver. The hotel does not provide transportation to Union Station

You can now also see Denver on two wheels through its new bike sharing program. Pick up a red B-cycle bike at one station, drop it at another. With a $6 daily fee, all rides of 30 minutes or less are no charge.
